Mark W. Martin of 2M Realty Launches Houston Real Estate Observer, Providing New Perspective on Industry News and Encouraging Thought Leadership

Houston, TX (PRWEB) December 21, 2010

Mark W. Martin of 2M Realty, an independent firm providing services throughout the Texas real estate market, is proud to announce the launch of the Houston Real Estate Observer (HREO), a new online destination designed to provide industry news and company-neutral thought leadership amongst the Houston real estate community.

HREO will serve as a repository of real estate news and information designed to educate consumers and professionals alike. Access to the site’s information is available at any time and comes at no cost to readers or contributors. Currently, content is being created and contributed to HREO by some of Houston’s leading Realtors, attorneys, mortgage brokers, and industry experts who are providing commentary about their market areas or field of expertise.

“Seemingly, most sources of Houston real estate news and perspectives have become challenged by the dilution of information on the Internet,” said Mark W. Martin, principal broker for 2M Realty and editor of the Houston Real Estate Observer. “As a result, the majority of our real estate commentary has found itself centered on performance lists, statistical overviews, and the occasional sensational headline. Our goal with HREO is to broaden the current perspective and provide a new, affiliation-agnostic voice for the Houston real estate market, where all experts in various roles pertinent to the industry can be heard.”

HREO is designed to be company-neutral and provide a unique outlet for thought leadership perspectives on the real estate profession. Marketing themes and self-promotion are prohibited in the articles. However, contributors will have the opportunity to briefly discuss their company and credentials, and link to their professional affiliation’s website in a short biography featured at the end of each article. Contributors will also have the opportunity to provide a more comprehensive description of themselves and their expertise in the Contributor section of the website.

Martin aims to provide geo-targeted and relevant commentary to the Houston real estate community and other Texas markets in the future. “Once HREO is established, we plan to launch similar sites in other Texas cities including Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth and San Antonio,” said Martin.

Leading Realtors and industry professionals are invited at this time to submit quality content and begin sharing their unique perspectives of the local real estate community. All parties interested in participating can visit the Contributor section of the HREO website to ask questions or to find instructions on how to submit articles.

This is a smart blog. I mean it. You have so much knowledge about this issue, and so much passion. You also know how to make people rally behind it, obviously from the responses. Youve got a design here thats not too flashy, but makes a statement as big as what youre saying. Great job, indeed.
